Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

A friend's live-in companion recently died. As they had been married for ten years and divorce, then got back together, but did not marry, as far a pension and social security what would be her rights. Would talamony be a factor?

The divorce decree determines her rights as to any pension in existence at the time of the divorce. She may be able to claim credits for his work when she retires with SS. If by "talamony" you mean "palimony", no rights there in Indiana. Living together does not equal marriage.
