Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My friends 17yr old daughter just recently had a child and rather than the babys bio dad be put on the birth certificate she put her new boyfriends name on it..Now she and said boyfriend have split due to some serious legal problems he is having. We are in the state of Indiana what does she need to do to get his name removed off of the birth certificate and eliminate any kind of contact? He has signed a paternity affadavit. He does not have any kind of visits with the baby, nor has he paid any support and he certainly has no kind of bond with this infant. Please advise
