Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My (future) sister in law just had a baby, June 16th, in Indiana. And my fiance and I are getting married August 7th in Michigan, where I am from. Her ex (father of the child) is throwing a fit about her taking the baby to Michigan for the wedding for four days... There is no legal custody filed, no "parenting plan," they were never married so no divorce agreement... Nothing... Can she get in trouble for taking the baby to the wedding? We've been planning it for a year now, he's known about it for that entire year, and he was the one who chose to leave her and the baby... Can he go to a judge and get custody for her leaving the state even if it is for a wedding? Or any other penalties?

He can go to a judge. However, based on the information that you have provided, I doubt that any order prohibiting a visit to Michigan would be granted.
