If you have been legally determined to be the father you can seek enforcement of parenting time or even custody. If not, you need to file for paternity and do the same. If you do not get custody, you will have to pay child support. It is possible that a court will construe your payment of bills as past support since under the law you have finanical responsiblity for your child from the date of birth.
Also, even though you were kicked out of the house, you are still responsible for payment of support. Go to the Indiana Judiciary Website and use the support calculator and start paying the amount that you calculate as support even before a court orders it. You do not want an order for back support later on that can effect your credit. Make sure you pay by check with a designation of support.
Finally, see a lawyer asap. This is a critical situation.
