Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

my girlfriend is 20 years old. she's just acquired records from some medical tests that were done at age 13. the tests indicate that she was diagnosed with a serious movement disorder for which specific medication was prescribed. her parents neither filled nor administered this prescription to her - and the old records clearly state that the prescribed medication would have eliminated the problem. now, at age 20, she is unable to walk due to this same condition. her parents never disclosed this information to her, she found it out through accessing her own records when she became unable to walk and didn't know why. can she sue her parents for child neglect or child endangerment?

Generally you can't sue your parents in Indiana for poor parenting choices. I assume she has talked to her parents about why they made the choice they did? If not, she should.
