is there a way to give temporary custodyof my child in a emergecy situation? The father is in jail and im am unable to care for her she is 13 yrs. i would like her aunt to take her we are in agree ment.

You can give your aunt emergency powers to consent to medical treatment. The type of custody you can allow (which must be apporved by a court to be binding) depends on the circumstances, and there is no way to provide for automatic return of custody to you.
