Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Grandmothers rights
My ex-wife and her mother will be here on Thursday March 25th to pick up our children for her spring break visit with them. Is my current wife under any legal obligation to let the grandmother of my two children in our home? My current wife feels that it would not be beneficial to allow her in. Thank

Re: Grandmothers rights
A homeowner has the right to determine who may enter his home. Under these circumstances, if the children and their belongings are able to be set out on the front step for someone to pickup, then perhaps that is what you seek to achieve. Otherwise, when children are picked up, no matter who accompanies the parent, the parent sending the children away should be civil and invite everyone arriving into the home to collect the children's belongings where there is more than the children and one person could carry.
