Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Grandparents were granted legal guardianship for their grandchild less than a year ago. Now they have decided raising a 4 year old is more than they can handle and want to turn custody over to their son (the child's father) however, the child's father had his parental rights terminated for 3 of his other children and was disallowed visitation while they were in foster care because of molestation of the youngest daughter. Do the grandparents (as guardians) have a right to determine who they can give the 4 year grandchild to. They aren't even considering the child's biological mother (who has a very strong bond with the child).

You need to see an attorney as there is more than meets the eye here concerning the reasons why a guardianship was even needed if the biological mother has such close ties with the child. This sounds like there are some complex issues and this forum prbably is not the right place for you to seek legal help.
I agree with the previous post. If there is a guardianship, the judge presiding over it decides where the child goes if the current guardians bail out.
