what grounds is needed to request a new judge? My husband has full custody of his daughter, the mother only has visitation rights. we have been in and out of court, and the judge has written an order stating that the counselor for the child can change vistiation as she sees fit for best interest of child. she decided this week that it needed stopped until a phyc eval was done the the bio mom. she calls the judge and the judge says NO, what else can we do to protect our daughter. she did threaten violence.

Every party has one opportunity to request a change of judge upon filing of a Motion to Modify. Talk to your attorney about alternatives. If you truly believe that the mother is dangerous, and do not have a lawyer, get one immediately. This is too important to try to do on your own, based upon the facts provided.
