Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My husband and I agreed to divorce several months ago and yesterday he wanted to meet me and give me papers. We had discussed seeing the same lawyer, but we discussed seeing them together. I feel leary about just signing papers without talking with a lawyer. Should I obtain my own lawyer?
