Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
My husband has 2 children that live with their mother. He provided a cell phone for his oldest son to be able to communicate with him any time. He is now grounded, and she took the phone my husband pays for away until 2 week grounding is up. This should not be used as a punishment. How should we handle this?

She is the custodial parent and has complete discretion concerning punishment that falls short of abuse.
However, she cannot interfere with reasonable
Parenting time by your husband. Compromise. The
child can use the phone for communication
with his father only during the two weeks.
