My husband decided to move out and can I change the locks if both names are on the mortgage ?

1. I think you mean the deed, not the mortgage. The deed grants ownership; the mortgage just describes the bank's collateral.

2. Yes you can change the locks.

3. Yes, he can break then if he chooses.

4. See an attorney in your community about how you might be able to stay in the house without the threat of him just returning.
