Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

husband left 3 weeks ago after i found out he was having an affair. He refuses to come back and work things out, but also refuses to file for seperation or divorce. We have a 6 year old and I am currently 35 weeks pregnant with our second. Is there any law against abandonment? I dont know what he is waiting for...or why he wont come home. Does he give up rights to the home? is there anything I can do?

You need to see an attorney about a separation or divorce. Since the two of you have a child, it is up to you to take steps to protect that child and make sure he/she gets support from both parents. Good luck.
