Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My husband owes arrears on his child support and we now have two liens on our vehicles that are both our names why am I being held responsible for his debt or am i responsible I know when I go to file jointly on taxes I have to file an injured spouse form to get my half because I am not responsible for his debt how does this differ

If you sell the car, 1/2 of the money would go to the state. Work this out with the child support office when you are getting ready to sell or trade it in. You may need a lawyer to help you.
