Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

my ex husband has primary custody of our boys. he left for Iraq and will be gone for 12 months. he told me before he left that the boys were to remain with his wife. shouldn't i have our children full time while he is out of the country? does his wife even have any rights to our children?

I agree with Jay. However, keep in mind that there may be a strong public policy against your argument. For example, in a situation where the divorced parents do not get along, a person might choose not to fight for his country because fo the potential for a change in custody. I am not stating that such is your situation or that my observation is is right or wrong.
