Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
My husband and I seperated in December 2008 I would like to know if he aquires a large debt i.e. hospital bill and I haven't signed anything am I liable if he doesn�t pay it?

It is possible if he cannot pay the debt and you can, that you would be responsible to pay this debt as the nature of the debt is for a life necessity, medical care. The same would not be true for a credit card used for other purposes, like the purchase of a color flat screen television, etc.
