Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My ex husband got a vehicle in our divorce (Indiana) He lost the title so it still has my name on it (along with his own) I went to get a duplicate title but he never got a new title when the lien co. signed off. I do not know how long it will take him to get a new title.

I am having to pay insurance on this vehicle---and now I find out he let the plates expire.

Is there anything I can do?

If he got the vehicle, why are you paying the insurance? Is there a debt on the car that has to be protected? You are not liable if he runs in to someone just because your name is on the old title.
