Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My husband is wanting to set up his own business, but we want to set it up so his ex wife cant come after the business for money child support. We have joint custody but have to pay her child support. If we set up the business 70/30, can she come after my 70% of the business profit?

This depends on what work he contributes and what income he is paid. If he is really doing half of the work, for example, the judge will probably see through a 70/30 ownership/income division. It will help to sit down and talk with a lawyer in more detail about the business and income from it.
