Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My husband ex wife went on disablity from her teaching job 3 years ago, the school boardapproved it, she is bi-bolar, can we make her tell us why, if its medical or because of her bi-polar then we want to take custody of the daughter until she goes back to work. If its medical due to her knee,then what should we do? Because 2weeks aftergoing on disability she is running 5ks and have been since.
