My husband and his ex wife are wanting to let her parents ( the girls grandparents ) adopt their two daughters. Is this possible and if so what would the process be?

Yes, it is possible. The process would be for your husband to sit down with an attorney and ask questions that he has about how a consent to adoption would affect him. The adoptive parents would contact their own lawyer about the adoption process itself.
