Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Husband's adulterous relationship and fathering a child out of wedlock
My daughter was married and about five months after this marriage her husband got another woman pregnant whom he worked with and fathered a child. Now he's asking for her to pay his divorce bills plus award him some $20,000 for a marriage that lasted almost 3 years. But he has kept hidden from her some money that he brought into the marriage and he has previously stated that she would never be able to get to it. My daughter paid all of the bills during the marriage because he worked so hard at a lower paying job. His parents, sisters and he kept the birth of this child hidden from her for over two years and when she found out about the child asked for a divorce. Obviously he and his family deceived her and committed fraud because she would have divorced him as soon as she found out that this child was going to be born in this adultery relationship with the other woman. And in my opinion, they prevented her from getting an annulment and kept her in a relationship for over two years that she never would have agreed with. So what can she do at Indianapolis, Indiana?
