Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Indiana court order states that parties agree the children will be involved in reasonable extracurricular activities. It also states the parties will pay their share of all AGREED UPON activities. Father is refusing to pay for any activities, saying he did not agree to any of them beforehand. They live in different states and Mother feels the activities are normal reasonable activities. Should the non-payment be reason to deny him the tax exemption based on arrears? He is supposed to be up to date in order to get it.

You need to show the order to an attorney to answer this question. I know you believe that you have communicated the "gist" of the order, but no one should try to answer this question without reading the decree, and preferably having some ides about how judges in that community tend to answer those kinds of questions.
Good luck.
