I am an Indiana firefighter for 32 years have been married for 20 years. the city department does not take out for social security benefits� out of my check. If I divorce my wife does she get half my pension?

The general rule is that she is entitled to at least half of the pension that was earned over the course of the marriage, in this case .50x20/32 of the pension amount. Each case is fact specific so the general rule may not apply to you. Contact a local family law attorney.
