Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

insurance/divorce

My husband filed for divorce. I have a pre-existing medical condition that was diagnosed while married. I was carried by my husband on his insurance. I now find that I don't qualify for medical help and can't afford insurance (not sure I would be able to get it anyway). My doctors and medicaid workers tell me that they can't help but it is common for the ex-spouse to continue to carry an ex if needed. The divorce was very very amicable so we filed ourselves and signed the papers. We are now in the waiting period for it to become final. Do I have any right to ask for insurance now? I take 4 medications daily and can not afford the doctor visits to get the prescriptions much less the medication. Do I have any options at all?
