Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My ex and I have joint custody, but I have primary, so they live with me. He's telling me that our youngest (he's 11) wants to live with him in another city and go to school there. I'm concerned because there's some issues we had before (abusive step mom) and since they legally live with me, I don't know that he can actually enroll him in school in another city.

If they are coming back to you, then enrollment in another school by itself won't mean much, will it? The kids won't be there to go to school, they will be with you.

I suspect there may be more and different facts than contained in this post, so your best bet is to sit down with a family law attorney in your community who can get all the relevant information and let you know what you should do, depending n what you think is best for your son. (At his age, your son's preference is not a big priority.)
