Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
If there is a joint custody situation where both parents are upstanding, the mother is primary and the father pays support, but the custody is split and the kids spend half the week with one and half the week with the other (teenagers). The mother decides to leave the state, basically across the country, Indiana to Nevada, what chance does she have of getting full custody of the children so she could take them?

The bottomline is that a judge after hearing all of the facts of the case will determine what is in the best interest of the children. If moving with you is in their best interest, then you have a chance. If it isn't, in all liklihood the father will be granted sole custody as joint custody is not favored when distance is a factor.
