Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My ex and I have joint physical/legal custody. In our decree we have incorporated the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines. I am supposed to have the right of first refusal. I have gone to court and we have used a parental coordinator because he wants his girlfriend to be with the children instead. He got a slap on the wrist for having his girlfriend watch our children for the entire day. However he keeps doing this. What is my next step? Can I restrain her from the kids? Also, they routinely disparage me in front of the children.

You have to go back to court again. If he abuses the situation, ultimately the court could change the custody arrangements on that basis. Best strategy will be to tell all this to your lawyer and use one to file the contempt action based upon repeat violations.

You can petition the court for a contempt citation and/or a modification of custody.
