Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Seeing the kids
My husband pays $120 a week on his 2 boy faithfully. The problem is she has brainwashed them and they refuse to come and see him. They flip him off when we go by. If he calls the boys tell hime they hate him and their step dad is their real and only Dad. He has paid support for 8 years now and has not seen them going a year and an half. He is thinking of signing his rights away to stop paying support. She has what she wants and it is wrong. We have taken her to court for contemp numerous times and she will let us see them for a month or two and we start all over again. The judge doesnt want to do anything about it. Is it possible to do this to sign rights away?

Re: Seeing the kids
If he signs a consent for adoption and an adoption takes place, his support obligation can be stopped. Otherwise, based on the facts presented, not at this time.
