I leave in Greenwood IN, me and my 3 children live with a friend. My ex and I have been seperated over 5 months. My family lives an hour North of me. My friend wants me to leave. Can I move up north with my children without a divorce.

Yes, with no legal proceedings pending, your children can be with either of you, and either of you can live where you wish to live.
