Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Legal avenue to prevent child being in danger due to father's current affair wit

My child's father, whom I never married and legal paternity never established, has regular visitation with his daughter and pays support. He is currently having an affair with his boss's wife. Father has told me, in short, that if boss finds out, boss has already threatened wife that ''he can make her and whoever she's seeing dissapear''. My child's father has been having this woman over, staying all nite, while my child is there even though they both told me they would not do this. Besides the moral and ethical issues here, I fear for my daughter's safety. Father says he won't let anything happen. Boss is already ''suspicious''. Do I have any legal avenue from preventing Father from having this woman over during his visitation until she is either divorced or my daughter's safety is assured??? This isn't about not wanting Father to see anyone, I have my own new life, I just don't want my daughter mixed up in all this. Thanks in advance if anyone can answer my question.

You could petition the court for supervised visitation in order to make your ex have a neutral third party on site when the visitation occurs. That would help thwart any monkey business from the girlfriend's husband.

I doubt the court would stop the visits entirely, however, based on speculation or worry about a potential problem.

Sounds like a tough situation for you....
