Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
When it comes to legal representation related to post dissolution matters is one better served to secure legal counsel within the county where the divorce took place or should one feel comfortable with counsel who has not dealt with the court or opposing counsel who has experience with the court and judge?

If possible, it is always best to have an attorney who has some familiarity with the county and the court. That does not require you to hire a lawyer whose office is in that county, however, just an attorney whose practice has taken him/her there.
