Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I live in Illinois and I have been ordered to attend a hearing in Indiana concerning court ordered child support. I cannot afford this trip and my automobile is not in good enough condition to make the trip. The Judge will not take this into consideration and allow a telephonic hearing. Is there someone else I can contact to get help with this?

This is in the discretion of the judge. Renting or borrowing an automobile are your best alternatives.
