Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I live in Indiana...

There is no gay marriage in Indiana.

I(biological dad) was just made aware that I have a 12 year old girl named Jessica.

She has a lesbian mother and OTHer mother...

They deliberately kept her from me for 12 years for their own selfish means!

I am heartbroken that I've missed out on soo much of her life. How can anyone do that to their kid? Is there no law against this type of immorality?

I have had my daughter here the last several weekends and she really hit it off with my other 2 kids in my home.

Jessica told me her mom routinely smacks her in the face and also leaves her unattended all night while at work. So I confronted Jessica's mom and other about said abuse...They went thru the roof and now I cant see Jessica and havent even established paternity yet?

Jessica told me(her biological dad) that she has been tormented her whole life due to her mothers lesbianism.

I have always remained open minded about homosexuality even with a Christian upbringing.

Now it is directly affecting my family and I'd like some advice.

Should I immediately Hire a lawyer for paternity? We live 2 hours apart here in Indiana...

Would I be in the wrong for wanting joint custody? OR possibly full custody?

I honestly feel the mothers' lifestyle is a direct threat to the welfare of my daughter?

Would ANY judge wonder why she waited 12 years to let her contact her dad?

She knew where I was all along...

Is this a common occurance?

I really appreciate any help and/or legal advice!

~God Bless~
