Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

While living in an abusive environment during divorce pro-

ceedings' I quit sleeping at home but had not moved out.As an alcoholic/drug abuser he came home late every night &

would want to fight. I was calling the police and informing myl lawyer .

Should he have gotten exclusive temporary possess-

ion? The Constitution says I should have the right to my property!
