Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I am currently living in Indiana with a pending child support case in California. Can I get an Indiana lawyer to represent me or do I need to consult with a California lawyer.

California, unless all parties now live outside of California in which case the matter should be heard in the state where the child(ren) live.
