Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I've been married to a man 2years and was abused. I recently left before he killed me. I had to leave everything I owned becasue I had no job or money to move anything. But my famliy sent for me.He filed for divorce two weeks ago becasue he couldn't find where my family was hiding me. I want to know since he took all of my belongings, and becasue I left can I still get one of the cars and part of his pension.He didn't use an a lawyer to file, he swore we had no property or debts. but he left damages in the apartment we shared and we have two cars that is in his name. One I used a car I had previous to our marriage for the down payment for the new one..He Took all of my furniture and eletronics Please Help.
