Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I have been married only six months and sadly we split. I had a house and car both in my name. I live in Indiana. I had the house about 5 years the car 3. We don�t share any accounts other than our bank account witch only had 150.00 in it when she left. I canceled it and reopened my own now. I want to know if she could get anything from me. She is a LPN and makes the same pay almost as me and has since we have been together.

Courts will usually try to put parties from short marriages back in the position they were in prior to marriage. That being said, your best strategy is to hire an attorney to present that position to the court.

I agree with Jay, hire counsel as your assets are at slight risk, but nevertheless at risk.
