Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Married Oct.25 2010 wife left before Christmas to visit parents out of state. Said she would be back after her birthday in Jan. Now say she isn't coming back and doesn't want to be married. She is expecting a baby sometime this summer. Can I sue her for desertion? Am I still liable for any bill she might make? Should I start legal separation or file for a divorce? She has told me she would not ask for support for the child, even said she would send me a paper to sign. This sound very strange to me. I have ask her to come back five times and to try to work things out and she says no. Let me know what is the best thing for me to do right now.

You cannot get her for desertion, nor can you get out of paying child support, eve nif by agreement. You can file for divorce or a legal separation. However, not everything will be finalized until the pregnancy is over.
