I was married to my wife during my career for 18 years. I just retired. Now she is going after a portion of my pension. What can I do to protect my penson from her?

Unfortunately for you, there is nothing you can do other than give her the current value of your pension from other assets. If she has a pension,you are also entitled to a share of hers, sometimes a tradeoff is made.
