Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I have been married for 10 years. My husband had a company before marriage and never paid taxes nor child support which I was not aware of. In second year of marriage he got from court to pay back taxes and child support for all unpaid years. He did not make enough to cover so we ran credit cards up. Because we filed taxes jointly I never got my tax return but went to his child support. Now all back tax and child support is paid , he asked for a divorce. Since debts are divided 50/50 in Indiana, would I have to help with payments again?

He also takes a lot of cash every week for his private spending only, make me pay bills or we will lose house, car etc. Is there anything that I can do. For simple understanding, he took 100G from our marriage and paid bills from before marriage. Can I sue him ?

Yes. File for a divorce as soon as possible. Get a good family law attorney in your community who can try to get you more than 50% of the net marital assets based upon your claim that your husband wasted assets.

Good luck.
