Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I have a mentally handicapped sister. She lives in her own apartment but is unable to mentally take care of her finances. She recently starting hanging out this guy she use to date. He is trying to keep her away from her family and friends. She turned off her phone and hasn't been to her apartment for days. No one has been able to get a hold of her. I'm very worried about her well being. I am wanting to obtain guardianship of her , I believe it will be in her best interest. I don't have the money to obtain a lawyer. Is there a way to file for guardianship without a lawyer??

You can check with Legal Services of Indiana or your local Pro Bono Office for your judicial district. You should check the Indiana Judicial Web Site-there may be forms there. Also, you live in Bloomington. Contact the law clinic at IU's law school.
