Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
modification of support - hidden income
My husband is to pay child support of 1,800 a month when our divorce is final. He has since had a drop of income and is having around 30,000 of it placed into a plan his work has arranged for him - sort of like a pension. This will not show as earned income on his check. He has shown me the papers. My question is, can he pay less child support due to this and will the court accept a modification if he is in fact hiding income which will generate over a few million for him in 15 years? The only evidence I have is what was shown to me by him and also a tape recorded conversation pertaining to the above. Thanks.

Re: modification of support - hidden income
Child support is based on his GROSS income, which is what he earns before any deductions.
