Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Can I modify a divorce decree if I signed in the decree to let the mother claim the child. It has been 8 yrs. and I think I should be able to claim every other year, that seems fair. I also do pay child support and am not behind.

Yes, you may ask for this, and most judges would probably give it to you. It will also undoubtedly prompt a motion from the other side to modify the support amount, so you might want to have an attorney make some computations for you before you go to court.

Good luck.
