Motion to dismiss

What does it mean to have my motion stricken? Is that just another term for them throwing it our of court? What help can I recieve if I do not have the funds to hire an attorney? I am a full time college student and cannot affor to hire an attorney

Stricken means your motion will not be heard or considered but is not a rulng on the merits. You will have to see whether you qualify through the Indiana Legal Services or for Pro Bono representation. You might also consider borrowing money from your parents or friends. You have to decide how important the court proceeding is in your life as there may be some long term effects on your financial ability to attend college in the future. Good luck.
