You need to follow the indiana Relocation Statute, provide the appropriate notice and if the other parent objects, there will be a hearing. At that hearing the court will determine whether it is in the best interest of the child to move. It is possible that your ex would use that forum as an opportubity to seek a modification of custody. Bottom line is that it is unlikely that a move, itself would be a basis for a change in custody.
