Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Moving

If I get custody of my children and my husband doesn't live in the same state due to his military career, will I be able to move to another state even if he does not want me to move? He has been visiting the children every other weekend by driving from TN to Indiana. He has filed for Indiana residency but is physically located in TN.

Re: Moving

You will hae to comply with the Relocation statute.

Your husband will have the right to a hearing and may voice his objections. the court will then decide whether to allow the relocation. If so, the court will also determine parenting time, etc.
