Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Moving out of state

I have 2 children I have custody of and they are in my home. I want to move to another state & obtain a new job there with higher pay and I am haveing trouble coming to an agreement with my ex-husband. Do I have to get permission from him, go in front of a judge, or just notify the ct. of my plans? Can this be done even with the children wanting to go and him not wanting us to relocate?

Re: Moving out of state

There is a relocation statute that you should read. There is a specific procedure that must be followed before you can move. If you need an attorney to assist you, feel free to contact me.
