Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Moving to Another State

My daughter and I relocated to Tennessee a year and a half ago due to my husbands job. My daughters father and I wrote an agreement on the move and the date of the move (which was less than 60 days), visitation, and meeting distance. We had the agreement notarized and mailed it to the court and the judge approved it, and that was the end of it. My husband has now been offered a position in Georgia for a more money. Has the law changed? Can we still have a statement notarized and move before 60 days? Do we need to go before the judge?

Re: Moving to Another State

You need to comply with the new relocation act that went into effect in July of 2006.
