Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Moving out of state

I have full custody of my 5 year old son. He visits his father during school breaks. In june 2005 I received permission from the courts to move to Illinois from Indiana and have lived in illinois since. I am now looking to buy a house in Wisconsin about 25 minutes from my house. do I need to go through the courts again to obtain permission to change states or just inform the father of my impending move.

at a min. you need to have an agreed order filed with the court, if no agreement, you need to follow the Relocation Statute.

If the judgment or applicable court order says you do, then yes. If no, then no.
