Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
what are my options
I was in a relationship with a woman and fathered a child with her. we seperated years ago and I moved to another city about 100 miles away. we have never gone to court involving our son and now she is stating that she plans to keep him full time for school. our living environments are drastically different, with my home being significantly better in all aspects. I have provided insurance and other things for him when he visits me. If we go to court for custody, what can I expect to happen? is there any possibility of my getting custody and what does the judge normally consider when granting custody? can the differences in the household, my ability to provide, etc be factors in granting custody?

Yes, you do have a chance for custody. The factors that you listed are all taken into account by a judge.
